Denise was one of my first clients in 2018-2019 and I'm so thrilled that she loves my original work, but we both knew it was time for a revamp. She is building more of a learning setting in addition to her original business "Catalyst Energies". Tree of Life Essential Wellness is a new addition. The intention was to create a wellness brand, update the website, and provide business cards, graphics for banners on youtube, and eventually signage for a physical location.
With all of those ideas in mind, I wanted to create a seamless option and more of a puzzle piece for the two businesses that would work on their own but also work seamlessly together. This is a current project and we are biting things off as we go. First step was the branding and really nailing down the feeling and aesthetic that aligned with Denise and her vision for both businesses. Next up is website updates and web graphics.
With the direction clarified for both Catalyst Energies and Tree of Life Essential Wellness, the focus became creating a visual foundation that felt rooted, expansive, and deeply aligned with Denise’s work. The goal was not to reinvent her business, but to honor what already existed while giving it room to grow into this next chapter.
We leaned into symbolism that reflects learning, healing, and energetic balance. Organic shapes, natural motifs, and subtle geometric structure helped bridge the intuitive and educational sides of her work. Every element was considered for how it could stand on its own for each brand, while still feeling like part of the same ecosystem.
Color choices were inspired by nature and growth. Grounded earth tones paired with softer, life filled hues to reflect both stability and vitality. The palette needed to feel calming and trustworthy, while still carrying a sense of curiosity and expansion, especially as Tree of Life Essential Wellness steps into a more instructional role.
Typography was chosen with intention as well. It needed to feel wellness driven and professional, without becoming sterile or overly clinical. The balance was in creating something approachable and clear, with just enough personality to reflect Denise’s warmth and depth.
This foundation allows the branding to evolve alongside the project itself, supporting everything from digital spaces and educational content to future physical signage, while keeping both businesses visually connected and energetically aligned.
